Figen Gürakan, M.D. graduated from TED Ankara College High School in 1975 and Hacettepe University, School of Medicine in 1981. Dr. Gürakan completed her Pediatrics residency in 1985 and Pediatric Gastroenterology  residency in 1994 at Hacettepe University, School of Medicine. Dr. Gürakan stayed in Boston, Harvard Medical School Mass General Hospital as an observer in 2003.
