Being a physician is difficult, and very difficult. No profession has the difficulty and responsibility of costing or healing a life with a decision. The work done is very sacred and very hard. Medicine is a profession at the expense of not having a personal life. In return, what most physicians expect is a little bit of understanding, a little bit of respect and a little bit of love.

Actually, the best physician is a person knowing himself. The transformation that will lead to premature aging and chronic diseases, choosing a lifestyle accordingly, actually minimizes the person's encounter with the physician. However, it is inevitable that one day a doctor will be needed, even everything about life is experienced at the most optimal level.

Mankind has always sought miracles throughout his life. Living long and the desire to stay young forever has become the most precious of these miracles. In fact, mankind has always looked for the fountain of immortality, like Ponce de Leon.

The fountain of immortality looks difficult today, but we can be hopeful for the fountain of youth. It seems possible to be in the thirties and forties, at least biologically, except in the terminal period when we are very close to death. Along with a lot of observational evidence, a large number of molecular-based scientific studies show this. Especially proteins and genes from the sirtuin class (SIRT1, SIRT3, SIRT6), many molecules such as Glutathione, PGC-1α, IL6 and P53, which are called the mother of antioxidants, have properties that can be described as the fountain of youth. Molecules or cells such as nitric oxide (NO), tissue plasminogen activator (T-PA) and vascular inner liner precursor cell (EPC) are also vital in preventing cardiovascular aging. In addition, the molecules called Irisin and Klotho also have miraculous effects. The relationship between regular and lifelong exercise with all these molecules is unbelievable. Because the quality and number of these molecules increase with regular appropriate and adequate exercise.

It seems possible, after all, to find our own fountain of youth. A prerequisite for this is regular, appropriate and adequate exercise throughout life. Until recent years, people, especially people over the age of 65, have been convinced about the dangers and harms of doing sports other than light walks. However, the fountain of youth, built by regular sports, can not quench people's thirst when it is opened a little. It is not possible to drink enough water without opening the faucet sufficiently. Not only regular exercise but also some other lifestyle factors are also important. Some key factors appear to be learning to manage stress, not smoking, and following a healthy diet.
